After pulling together a neighborhood group of ten mahjong novices, our group quickly became regulars, hooked on the game, the connection it brings and the satisfying clack of the tiles. With growing interest from other neighbors, we launched the Birdie Bam Social Club.

Why Birdie Bam Social Club? The name celebrates the traditional "Birdie Bam" cheers—our perfect symbol of shared fun and connection.

    Hannah Askew

    COFOUNDER

    Originally from Ireland, Hannah moved to San Francisco over 10 years ago before relocating to Atlanta. After a busy day as a mum of three and PR lead for a major tech company, Hannah loves connecting with friends over mahjong.

    A California native who called San Francisco, Copenhagen and Denver home before settling in Atlanta. Elizabeth loves nothing more than putting her kids to bed, pouring a glass of wine, and meeting up with her girlfriends for a game of Mahjong.
